Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies?
Juggling, skateboarding, brewing beer, and I use to be able to ride a unicycle. On a good day I can juggle while riding a skateboard.
Have you ever met anyone famous?
Larry Bird, one of the greatest basketball players of all time. The story is much better told in person than reading about it here.
What was your first job?
John was raised in Indianapolis and now resides in Anderson Township, OH. He and his wife Angie have three wonderful children, Jack, Oliver, and Lucy. He comes to RFG with decades of financial service industry knowledge. He has been partnering with clients and advisors to achieve their goals since 1989.
John started his career as an advisor progressing to a sales manager, and later relocating to Cincinnati in 2008 to manage and grow a firm under MassMutual. Over the last five years, John was with a local insurance company charged with managing recruiting, training, and development for firms across the country. A little fun fact about John is that he is a part-time Brewer, as well as the Co-Founder of Happy 2 Brewing Company, located in the Anderson Township Mio’s on Clough Pike.
John is a Certified Financial Planner® with the following FINRA security registrations – Series 6, 7, 63 & 24. As a Certified Financial Planner® at RFG, John will also assist with certain compliance requirements, support external recruitment efforts, and handle internal business development.
