José Chavez is an experienced Independent Financial Advisor with over 20 years in the finance industry. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Xavier University and has built a successful career helping clients navigate financial planning and investment strategies.

Beyond his professional expertise, José has a deep appreciation for the outdoors. Some of his most cherished memories from childhood involve exploring Yellowstone, Yosemite, and Red River Gorge, though he admits he has yet to conquer his fear of heights.

José has been happily married to his wife, Shannon, for 28 years. As a tax accountant, Shannon brings a unique perspective to their household, and José often jokes that their dinner table conversations are anything but ordinary. Together, they have two adult children, Logan and Cecilia, as well as their beloved dog, Dixie.

An avid outdoor enthusiast, José enjoys hiking, cycling, and playing pickleball. He enjoys hiking at the Nature Center finds a sense of tranquility when hiking its trails—especially in the snow. Thanks to his daughter, he has also developed a strong affinity for West Virginia football.
